On this weeks show Baseball Radio caught up with Australian coach John Deeble. John was live on the line talking from the IABF Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Taiwan. John discussed Austalia’s upcoming games in the tournament and highlighted the difficulties ahead for Australia to grab one of the last 3 berths for the 2008 Olympics. The boys were also able to catch up with Malvern Braves coach Daryl Dicker. The Braves this week take on the Essendon Bombers in the Baseball Victoria Div 1 Prelim final with the winner to meet the Blackburn Orioles in next weeks Grand Final. Rounding off the show the boys caught up with the ABF’s Official of the year Mark Gooding. Mark is one of Australia’s premier umpires and also Baseball Victoria’s Director of Umpiring. As always, the show also covered all the latest baseball news from home and abroad including a wrap of all the Major League Action.
